Anybody doing this year?
Would anyone be mad at me if I wrote my novel in parts instead of in order? For example, if I knew what I wanted one part of the story to be like but I didn't know what to do for chapter 2, so I did the part I knew and then went back and filled in the blanks?
I don't see why anybody should be able to tell you how to write your novel. Go at it however it works for you!
Of course, if you're sharing it as you write, you might want to avoid giving people major spoilers, or having to explain huge gaps for every chapter you post. But that's a seperate issue to the order you're writing it.
